When I talk to Principals and other administrators, I sometimes talk of “dismantling labs” and pushing technology into the classrooms (I actually had a conversation about this yesterday).  The beauty of a PLN (and RSS) is that ideas that matter to me come across my desktop (or mobile device) every day.  I came across this one on Ben Wilkoff’s (from Colorado) blog.

This idea comes from a guy in Texas who had (it’s a few years old when he worked as an Instructional Technology Specialist at Hanes Elementary School in Irving, Texas) a very specific approach to getting technology in the hands of students.  It’s a 4:1 (students:computers) approach and offers some interesting insights for teaching and learning with technology.  Please check it out and lend me your thoughts!
